Bethany Thomas52 days agoI’ve used 69ers for years, ever since I lived in Dunstable, and they were always my go to taxi company because they were reliable, friendly, and always had helpful drivers. I’ve since moved to Biggleswade and recently needed to get back to Dunstable for a family event. I decided to get a quote from 69ers, and to my surprise, they were actually cheaper than the local taxi companies in Biggleswade! I couldn’t believe it! My driver arrived right on time in a lovely, clean car and was incredibly helpful, giving me a hand with my pram and bags. It was the same fantastic 5-star service I remembered all those years later. Thank you 69ers for proving that great service never changes. Booking was really easy, the telephone staff were genuinely very friendly and helpful. My driver arrived early each time and the car was spotless. So helpful with putting my suitcases in the car. Always a lovely comfortable journey. Great communication throughout and great value for money. I wouldn’t use any other taxi company as they provide such a reliable and friendly service. Dillon was great, he helped get the blanket over his seats so my dog could sit in the back with me. He is super friendly and we have had him before when we were coming home from a farm. I always feel safe with this company. What I love is that I am always greeted by name by both the drivers and controllers and as my family use this service too many drivers will ask how the rest of my family are. It is an absolute pleasure to have such lovely drivers who are willing to have a little chat on my journey too. It makes the start of my day or my journey home so much more pleasant. The team took my family to Gatwick Airport and also handled her return journey back home to Dunstable. When I called to arrange the return booking, they kept us well informed every step of the way, making what could have been a stressful journey incredibly smooth and straightforward. Travelling with two young children can be challenging, but their caring, considerate, and professional approach made all the difference. My sister felt looked after from beginning to end. Danielle Downs174 days agoUpdate Mar 2026: thank you for the detailed and honest response to my previous update. I'm pleased to say my pre-booked Taxi arrived nearly 10 mins early this morning and one I called from the Station coming home only took 10 mins to arrive, despite being rush hour. Glad it looks like the previous staffing issues have been resolved 😊 Update Jan 2026: unfortunately had to deduct a star because, since last September, 5 of the 6 journeys I've booked have been 5-25 minutes late. Understand things happen beyond Drivers' control but noticed that, despite booking in advance, the job isn't being assigned / confirmed until very close to (if not at or after!) the scheduled pickup time, so no wonder they can't teleport to my pickup location! It seems to be a persistent problem, not a one off. It's not great if you're wanting to catch a Train or are left waiting in the cold and dark, especially as a lone female. Shame because they used to be so good 2024: used them fairly often this year and they've proven pretty reliable. When they have been late, it's been because of genuine unexpected traffic issues, rather than only being given the job at the scheduled time of pickup, which I've experienced with another local firm. Were really good with my elderly Dad and helped him get in and out of the car. Usually send a text with the car's make, colour and reg, which I find helpful and reassuring for securityPosted on Google

I respectfully asked why he late and he replied that there are road work going on in the area. I accepted his excuse. To my greatest surprise he was able to cut off traffic and navigated through roads and get to my daughter’s school well before resuming time. He was very much polite and respectful. Edwina Byass1447 days agoBooked 69ers for the journey from Heathrow and had excellent service. The flight was late landing resulting in a rush hour journey on a Friday evening. The driver in car 6 went above and beyond expectations. He kept in touch so that we could locate him in LHR, he found the best route to avoid traffic jams, his driving was excellent and he assisted with our luggage (even carrying it to my front door). The car was good too. I will definitely use them again for the next trip.Posted on Google

Angela Bentley1502 days agoWe had to travel to Dunstable but did not know the area at all. Over the 2 days we spent and had to travel we used this absolutely wonderful service. Not only were the drivers polite and very helpful all the cars we used were roomy and very clean inside and out. We actually had the same taxi driver twice! Over the 2 days we used this service 6 times. Never had to wait more than a couple of minutes and the prices were cheap compared with serices I use elsewhere. It was a real pleasure using this service and can highly recommend them.Posted on Google
